Virtual conference of the Slovenian Presidency of the Council of EU

COVID-19 has unequivocally demonstrated the importance of global solidarity in the response to common health threats. Dealing with this unprecedented global crisis, we can see that no country is safe until everyone is safe. This calls for a holistic, inclusive and coordinated approach to health systems strengthening within Europe and beyond its borders.

The conference will address the issue of strengthening the resilience of health systems globally, as part of the joint initiative of seven consecutive presidencies of the Council of the European Union, which address the challenge of strengthening the EU’s role in global health.
